When he's not in the kitchen, you'll find him immersed in a book or enjoying a brisk walk. Passionate about family and sharing his italianità, Lucio brings authenticity and heart to everything he does.

Executive Director Barbara Lee
Born in Rome but raised in Calgary, Barbara has come full circle, returning after 30 years with the Italiano Please! team. She's thrilled to bring YYC an authentic Roman food experience in a space that celebrates diversity and inclusion, Barbara is an animal lover and outdoor enthusiast-especially when she can enjoy both at once!

Born in Rome, Fede brings a dynamic mix of skills and passions to our team.
In high school, he specialized in surveying, but his interests extend far beyond. An adaptive CrossFit enthusiast and wheelchair fencing fan, he also coaches wheelchair basketball, proudly cheering for Canadian star Patrick Anderson. With a bartending certification and a background in acting, Fede is the team's resident comedian, always keeping us entertained.

Born in Rome, Bea moved to Calgary during her high school years. Bea She blends her Italian roots with a passion for inclusion. Currently pursuing Disability Studies, she firmly believes in the power of accessibility and belonging. A true lover of pets, music, and all things carbs, Bea brings warmth and energy to everything she does.
